LNG – Can Producers Respond to the Needs of Buyers?

The last decade has seen a major expansion of global LNG activity as buyers look to LNG to diversify sources of supply and enhance security of supply. Escalating costs, shortages of equipment and experienced people and difficulties in accessing reserves are proving to be major challenges for companies planning new supply projects. Does this mean a slow down in LNG activity or can producers find ways of responding through, for example, small scale plants or floating LNG plants?
