Orman Lange Project – Lessons Learned During Early Phase of Operations

Ormen Lange Development includes deep water wells with full well stream transfer through pipelines to the onshore plant in Norway. The Plant has high availability and provides critical gas supply to United Kingdom. At peak production the plant is expected to provide ca. 20% of UK’s gas needs. The processing at the onshore plant includes water and hydrocarbon dew-pointing of gas; condensate stabilisation with liquid storage in underground caverns; MEG regeneration for injection to sub sea.
