A Re-think of the Mercury Removal Problem

The Arrival of New, High Activity Mercury Absorbants has allowed the re-thinking of purification processes. The MRU can now be located at the front of the plant to treat raw gas. This paper draws on data from actual operating MRU’s to suggest how the design of plants could be improved.
