Overview of the Gas Processing Industry
Speaker: Malcolm Harrison, PetroSkills
Moderator: Marek Misan, TechnipEnergies
Ever wondered what actually happens to natural gas between the wellhead and your pipeline? This webinar takes you on a step-by-step journey of the gas treatment process - no prior industry experience needed.
We'll cover why raw inlet gas can't be used as-is, what's in it (and why that's a problem), and how each processing step - inlet treating, sweetening, dehydration, dew point control, and heavies separation - transforms it into a product that meets sales specification. We'll close with a look at where the gas goes next, including a glimpse into LNG.
Whether you're a recent graduate or simply curious about the gas industry, this session will give you a clear mental model of the whole process chain.
